What is NMIMS NPAT?
The NMIMS NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) is the official entrance exam conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admission to multiple undergraduate programs.
Unlike many other entrance exams that focus on one discipline, NPAT acts as a gateway to several NMIMS undergraduate courses across different campuses.
Programs Offered Through NPAT
NPAT scores are used for admission to programs such as:
- BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
- B.Com (Hons.)
- B.Sc. Finance
- B.Sc. Economics
- BBA Branding & Advertising
- BBA International Business
- BBA FinTech
These programs are offered across NMIMS campuses like Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, and Chandigarh.
For many students interested in business, finance, and management careers, NPAT is one of the most important private university entrance exams in India.
Why the NPAT Result Matters
The NPAT result is more than just a scorecard.
It determines:
- Your merit rank
- Whether you qualify for NMIMS undergraduate programs
- Which campus you may be eligible for
- The next steps in the admission process
Because NMIMS follows a merit‑based admission system, even small differences in score can impact campus allocation.
Your next step: Keep your login credentials ready and monitor the official website closely.
NPAT Result 2026: Expected Timeline
Your Result Could Be Live Right Now — Here’s How to Check
If you’ve been refreshing your dashboard since morning, here’s the situation: NMIMS has begun rolling out the NPAT 2026 result today, but not every program is going live at the same moment. NMIMS hasn’t given an official reason for the staggered rollout, though heavy login traffic on result day is a commonly cited factor for portals handling tens of thousands of candidates at once.
That’s the only context you need. What matters now is checking your own status, not waiting for a WhatsApp forward to confirm it for you.
Based on current updates from admission portals and education platforms, the NPAT result is expected soon.
| Event | Expected Timeline |
|---|---|
| NPAT Exam Window | Spring–Early Summer 2026 |
| NPAT Result Announcement | Mid–Late June 2026 |
| Merit List Release | Along with result |
| Admission Process | Begins shortly after results |
Some reports indicate June 22 as a likely result date, though NMIMS typically confirms results directly on its official portal.
Because thousands of students refresh the portal on result day, websites may slow down temporarily.
Your next step: Bookmark the official result page and check it regularly.

Real Student Example
Rohit from Indore appeared for NPAT hoping to get into NMIMS for a business degree.
When the results were announced, he checked his score but initially ignored the admission instructions.
A friend reminded him to check the portal again. He noticed that shortlisted students had to complete document verification within a limited time window.
Rohit uploaded his documents the same day and secured his admission.
